This page is DEDICATED to Our Malamutes that have gone on before Us.  Gone but NEVER FORGOTTEN !!!

It was hard for Us to decide to put this page up. We wanted a way to Honor Our Kids that are gone from Us.

            DENALI OF MALAMUTE HAVEN
Let Me intoduce Myself. I'm Denali but I'm called DEE DEE for short. I'm always running around seeing what I can get into. I love to be talked to. I'm told that I'm a real talker. I just cant seem to be quiet. My Human Sister LeeAnne tells People that I belong to Her. That is what She thinks. She BELONGS to Me. People dont own malamutes, malamutes own People. Just look at the picture below. They will learn one day. I don't like taking pitures as You can tell. I just dont feel like standing around long enough to take them. I like staying on the go.
I'm a new Mother now. I have to tell You that these babies are huge. I'm keeping one to live with Me forever. LeeAnne has not made Her mind up on Her name Yet. I will also have one living in Pa. Her name is Sable. She will be living with My Human Cousin's. I will get to see Her when they get a chance to come down for visits.

Denali was hit in the road when Her babies was just 2 weeks old. She had never been near the road and to this day We can't figure out what got Her to decide to go down to the road.  LeeAnne gave Her a very lovely funeral which We all attended. She will never be replaced here at Malamute Haven. She was such a joy to be around. Never in trouble for anything except for stealing cloths off the line. She really enjoyed doing that..

Tsuanmi was the best friend that any one could ever hope for. She was My shinning star. I loved the way Her left ear was always down. No matter how down I was She always made Me feel better. She was one of a kind. Never will she be replaced in My HEART... MY BABY FOREVER !!!!

                                                                A DOGS PLEA

Treat me kindly my beloved friend, for no heart in all the world is more grateful for your kindness then the loving heart of me. Do not break my spirit with a stick, for though I should lick your hands between blows, your patience and understanding will more quickly teach me the things you would have me learn.
Speak to me often, for your voice is the worlds sweetest music, as you must know by the fierce wagging of my tail when your footsteps falls upon my waiting ears. Please take me inside when it is cold and wet, for I am a domesticated animal, No longer accustomed to bitter elements. I ask no greater glory then the privilege of sitting at your feet beside the hearth. Keep my pan filled with fresh water, for I cannot tell you when I suffer thirst.
Feed me clean food that I may stay well, to romp and play and do your bidding, to walk by your side, and stand ready , willing and able to protect you with my life, should your life be in danger. And my friend, when I am very old or I no longer enjoy good health, do not make heroic efforts to keep me going. I am not having any fun.  Please see that my trusted life is taken gently. I shall leave this earth knowing with the last breath I draw, my fate was always safest in your hands.
